Owned and operated by Jason Alexander, a qualified Carpenter & Joiner who trained on period properties in the United Kingdom, now with nearly 25 years of experience.
Jason works closely with each customer to design a layout that suits the proportions and style of the home. As a highly skilled tradesman with a strong eye for detail, he ensures each installation is both balanced and thoughtful in its design.
Accurate, well proportioned wainscoting accents bring structure, depth, and character to a space — transforming plain rooms into standout features of the home as a subtle way to add lasting value and a sense of genuine quality.
Each project is completed using a purpose-built mobile workshop, custom made by Jason to provide the ideal environment for consistent, accurate work. All cutting and preparation is done inside the workshop, keeping your home and driveway clean, tidy, and free from dust with minimal noise.

Stair Walls & Variations
Stair walls x2 the applicable metre rate (Walls above stairs, including any landing areas that form part of the staircase).
Ceiling heights above 3m add 10% per 0.3m of additional height (Height taken at the mid point of each wall for stairs).
Double wainscoting x1.5 the applicable metre rate (supplementary wainscot panel inside of each panel)
Oversized accents add 25% to the applicable metre rate (65x18mm profile for high impact feature walls)

Who completes the installation?
No subbies, no apprentices! Jason personally completes every installation. When you book with Living Walls Joinery, you get true expertise and knowledge for the outstanding results we're know for.
How do you design the layout?
After completing hundreds of installations and many thousands of walls working with interior designers, architects and home owners we have seen it all!
The morning we arrive, we walk through together, discussing options and the various choices of how you would like the layout to be. We aim to leverage our knowledge and expertise to assist you in designing a layout for the impact you have envisioned, highlighting techniques to bring out the best aesthetic whilst avoiding any pitfalls or potential design flaws to arrive at a beautifully balanced and proportional interior to enjoy.
How do I calculate the metre rates?
Our rates are linear metres, simply left to right, or right to left across your walls!

Which areas do you service?
We service all of greater Sydney. If you are a little further afield, send us an email and we will see how we can help. We are generally happy to look at projects anywhere between Newcastle and the Southern Highlands.
How long does installation take?
With our extensive experience and our purpose built mobile workshop, we are highly accurate but also highly efficient. Generally our installations take 1 - 3 days to complete, depending on size and scope.
Can you install onto rendered walls?
Yes, we have specialist tooling that enables us to install onto both gyprock and rendered finishes
How can I prepare for installation?
If items can be moved away from the walls in preparation this is a great help. For heavier items, we're very happy to assist on the day of installation so no need to worry!
What happens when I give you my email for the measuring guide?
We know how annoying companies are with emails these days - you wont find that here! Jason will simply reply by sending our PDF guide and an open ended email for you to ask any questions you wish. Beyond that we leave you in peace knowing we'll hear back in good time if you have further questions or wish to move ahead.
