I work closely with every client to design a layout that perfectly suits the proportions and style of your home. My goal is simple: create balanced, thoughtful installations that turn plain walls into standout features — bringing warmth, elegance and a lasting sense of quality that subtly increases your home’s value.
Every project is handled personally by me (no subcontractors or apprentices). I use a purpose-built mobile workshop so all cutting and preparation happens off-site. That means minimal dust, noise and disruption in your home — just a clean, tidy result you’ll love.
Pricing is straightforward and transparent — no complicated quotes needed. I offer clear per-linear-metre rates (supplied and installed) that include my exclusive bespoke pine mouldings, adhesives, fixings and full design consultation. Exceptions & Variations
Stair walls x2 the applicable metre rate
Ceiling heights above 3m add 10% per 0.3m of additional height
Double wainscoting x1.5 the applicable metre rate (secondary wainscoting panel inside of each panel)

Who completes the installation?
No subbies, no apprentices! I personally complete every installation. When you book with Living Walls Joinery, you get true expertise from 25 years of experience on hand.
How do you design the layout?
After completing hundreds of installations and thousands of walls working with interior designers, architects and home owners I have a mountain of experience to draw upon.
The morning I arrive, we walk through together, discussing options and the various choices of how you would like the layout to be. I aim to leverage my knowledge and expertise to assist you in designing for the impact you have envisioned, highlighting techniques to bring out the best aesthetic whilst avoiding any pitfalls or potential design flaws.
How do I calculate the metre rates?
My rates are linear metres, simply left to right, or right to left across your walls!

Can I get an in-person quotation?
I don't offer quotations as everything is simply priced per-metre. By allowing ample time at the beginning of each installation to discuss and finalise the design together, I am able to offer better value that's easy and accessible to all.
This process has worked very well for each of my customers for a number of years now, allowing easy and transparent pricing that is the same for everyone whilst preserving the time I need to get on with producing quality carpentry without unnecessary travel and additional overhead.
Which areas do you service?
After many years in Sydney, I am now based on the Gold Coast and cover from Byron to Brisbane and everywhere in between!
How long does installation take?
With extensive experience and a purpose built mobile workshop, I am highly accurate but also highly efficient. Generally the installations take 1 - 3 days to complete, depending on size and scope.
Can you install onto rendered walls?
Yes, I have specialist tooling that enables me to install onto both gyprock and rendered finishes
How can I prepare for installation?
If items can be moved away from the walls in preparation this is a great help. For heavier items, I am very happy to assist on the day of installation so no need to worry!
What is the lead time from booking to installation?
Generally I am able to fit in smaller jobs within 1-2 weeks and 2-4 weeks for larger jobs where I may need to make a little more room in the schedule.
I have designed these genuine pine mouldings to cut clean, crisp lines that produce a specific shadow profile optimised for an exclusive, premium finish on completion. All timber mouldings, adhesives & fixings along with ample time for design consultation are included in my fixed metre rates.
